Peachy Jane formed in early 2006 with Graham Brown, Vicky and Rebecca Fludgate and Daniel Kietzman Simon Kang on bass. The band sarted gigging and recording material that summer with their first gig being at the Thomas Tripp Live in Christchurch. They went on to play Centre Stage, The Joiners, The Green Room (Portman) and O'Neills. Dave Lovell joined the band on bass in September 2007 and has added a fresh new influence to the bands music.

The group have had radio airplay on Off the Chart, Cable Radio Milton Keynes, BBC Radio Solent and
Forest FM.

Bringing their own unique sound to radio the group was featured in Radio Solents' "South Live" Demo Panel, to positve reviews. Peachy Jane have also been featured as Forest FM's Breakthrough Artist of the Month for April 2008. The band did a live radio session and received daily airplay on the station for that month. Forest FM also hosted a headline gig for the band.

Peachy Jane's sound has been compared to David Byrne and Neil Young however, the band's music encompasses an electic range of styles from reggae to jazz with a rock twist. A comment from one of the demo panel was, "There's definitely something going on there..."

 
Graham Brown has played in several bands from covers to originals and has supported bands such as Spencer Davis Group and Georgie Fame. He got his first set of drums by swapping an upright piano for them! His main influences are The Beatles, the Stones, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and Eric Clapton. He plays Tama Superstar Custom drums.
David Lovell enjoys listening and or playing most music, anything with a groove or
melody. Players he regularly listens to are: Will Lee, Anthony
Jackson, Jeff Berlin, John Patituci, Jimmy Haslip, Pino Palladino, Bakithi
Kumalo, Me'shell NdegeOcello, Matt Garrison, Richard Bona, Jaco, James
Jamerson, Chuck Rainy, Jerry Jemmott and Stanley Clarke.
 
Daniel Kietzmann is a self-taught blues/rock guitarist with influence from Mark Knopfler, Joe Satriani and Counting Crows. He has played with various bands and styles while looking for the right mix before finally settling down with Peachy Jane. He is also an accomplished guitar technician and spends hours customising guitars whenever he has a spare moment. His instruments of choice are customised Ibanez RG's and a modified Fender Hot Rod Deluxe which provide a unique mix of tones.
Beca is also a self-taught guitar player and songwriter, with many influences from folk, to blues, rock and pop, reggae and jazz. Favourtie bands are Fleetwood Mac and The Eurythmics and even some Kylie! Early experiences of listening to her Grandad's jazz collection inspired a love of it and later on visits to Bournemouths Folk Club gave inspiration also from the many great players and songwriters on the scene including Jon Strong, Ken Nicol and Mike Silver.
 
Vicky has been singing since an early age with influences from Carol King, to Whitney Houston. She got professionally trained in vocal techniques and started off by singing with covers bands and going onto work with Beca doing acoustic gigs before becoming part of the new Peachy line up. She's into most modern bands like U2, Keene and Snow Patrol.
